Surprisingly, the Bollywood diva has opted for a Tamil flick over other projects for her comeback. But many are wondering why she okayed a regional film instead of a big banner Hindi flick.
The Bachchan bahu will be starring in P Vasu's multilingual film. For the first time, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be seen in the character of a Kalari fighter. The role appeared to be a challenging one as the actress has to undergo a special training in the martial arts. Moreover, she has to shed a lot of weight for her performance-rich role.
Offers for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan never dried as producers have been making a beeline to get her call sheet. But she did not take up any offer as it did not impress her. Never Done Before Role
The answer, according to industry insiders, is that the movie is an woman-centric project and it is a never done before role for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
Graphic Oriented Movie
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has never done a full-fledged graphic-oriented flick. This also made her to accept the offer. Moreover, the script prepared by P Vasu is brilliant and it filled all her requirements. Hence, she has given green signal for the film.
"Aishwarya was really impressed with the script. She will be seen in a never seen before powerful role. She will essay a Kalari fighter in the film and for the same she will undergo special stunt training," Vasu said in a statement.
P Vasu took two years to pen the script. He has also signed Animatronics expert from France to work for the project.
"Major visual effects companies are being considered. Animatronics expert from France are being hired for the visual effects in the film, which will be shot in exotic locales of North Indian and some important portions in Cambodia," he added.
