At a recently held interview the actress, who has just begun her career in Tamil cinema, has landed herself in trouble by calling one of Superstar Rajinikanth's famous punch dialogues amusing and funny.
The actress in question is none other than Idhu Enna Maayam girl Keerthi Suresh who is also awaiting the release of Rajini Murugan starring Sivakarthikeyan in the lead.
In a new TV show that aims at inducing 'honest' answers from celebrities, Keerthi was asked to name one dialogue from Tamil cinema which she thinks is funny.
When everyone were expecting the newbie to come up with a funny dialogue, she shocked everybody by calling Rajinikanth's 'naan oru thadava sonna, nooru thadava sonna maathiri' amusing as the dialogue makes her laugh whenever she hears it.
This very dialogue from the movie Baasha is arguably Rajinikanth's most popular punch dialogue till date and hence the actress' choice of words did not go well with ardent Rajinikanth fans.
However, even before the show came to an end, Keerthi in an attempt to avoid controversies, said that the dialogue is one of her favourite and that it makes her smile whenever she hears it.
Check out the slides below for some of famous Rajinikanth's punch dialogues till date:
