Arindhaal
faced
its
acid
test
this
week
as
it
entered
the
second
week
at
the
box
office.
Yennai
Arindhaal
ran
to
packed
houses
in
most
theatres
in
Chennai
even
in
weekdays.
On
its
fifth
day(Monday)
Yennai
Arindhaal
has
reportedly
collected
7.2
crore
rupees
in
Tamil
Nadu.
Collections
on
the
sixth
day(Tuesday)
were
steady
throughout
the
state.
However,
it
did
not
match
up
to
the
fifth
day's
collection
as
the
total
gross
on
Tuesday
were
6.7
crore
rupees
from
Tamil
Nadu
alone.
On
its
seventh
day(Wednesday),
collections
in
Tamil
Nadu
is
said
to
be
around
6.5
crores(approx).
According
to
ATMUS
Entertainment,
which
released
Yennai
Arindhaal
in
the
USA,
the
Ajith
starrer
has
entered
the
second
week
with
23-25
screens.
The
overall
collections
there
stands
at
an
impressive
490,000
USD.
It
is
expected
that
the
movie
will
enter
the
respected
500,000
USD
mark
by
the
end
of
this
week.
After
completing
eight
days
run
at
the
box
office
worldwide,
it
is
speculated
that
Yennai
Arindhaal
has
collected
a
total
of
57.85
crores
in
Tamil
Nadu.
While
the
reports
say
the
movie
has
collected
6.25
crores
in
Kerala
and
7.35
crores
in
Karnataka,
it
also
says
the
Ajith
starrer
has
collected
4.45
crores
from
rest
of
India
and
25
crores
from
overseas
box
office.
So
the
total
collections
of
Yennai
Arindhaal
is
estimated
to
be
around
100.9
crore
rupees(approx).
To
round
things
off,
Yennai
Arindhaal
has
done
excellent
business
so
far
in
its
second
week
all
over
the
world.
With
Dhanush's
Anegan
releasing
today,
it
will
be
interesting
to
see
if
the

starrer
can

down
its
competitor
