We had earlier predicted that the box office collections of Baahubali(Bahubali) in Tamil Nadu alone could close in on a record ₹17.5 crore from its opening weekend(first three days).
Now, according to trade analysts, the official box office figures of SS Rajamouli's magnum opus stands at an impressive ₹10.25 crore from its first two days(Friday & Saturday).
It is said that the historical film amassed ₹5.10 crore on its first day and ₹5.15 crore on Saturday taking the tally to ₹10.25 from both Tamil and Telugu versions.
While the official collections for Sunday is yet to be ascertained in the state of Tamil Nadu, according to the theatre occupancy the film enjoyed on its third day, it is said that Baahubali could've easily crossed the 5 crore mark on the last day of its first weekend.
The film had an amazing response in Chennai with 95 percent theatre occupancy, the kind of response usually enjoyed only by certain heroes. In the whole of Tamil Nadu though, Baahubali was welcomed with 65 percent occupancy, according to a report.
The Tamil version alone was released in more than 333 screens across the state and was distributed by K Gnanavelraja of Studio Green who would now be content with his returns.

Total Collections In Chennai
From its first three days, Baahubali has collected 1.6 crore rupees from both its Tamil and Telugu versions in the city of Chennai.
USA Premiere Shows
The Tamil version of the movie had amassed $10,849 from its premiere show on Thursday.
First Day USA Collections
On its first day of release, the Tamil version of Baahubali went on to collect an impressive $52,939.
Collections On Saturday (USA)
Saturday witnessed a sharp rise in the collections. The Tamil version of SS Rajamouli's magnum opus piled a whopping $92,304.
Total USA Collections
The total collections (excluding Sunday) of Baahubali now stands at an impressive $156,092 which roughly amounts to ₹98.92 lakh from its Tamil version alone.
It is said that the overall gross of the movie has touched an unimaginable 160 crore rupees from its opening weekend from all its versions.
