Can Sivakarthikeyan Outperform Thala Ajith In His Next?
Sivakarthikeyan is fast becoming a force to reckon with as his stature is growing with each and every released film of his. His upcoming film however, might help his career graph ascent almost vertically, for he is all set to don 3 different get-ups in the movie.
If he can pull off such a difficult task effectively, tremendous respect from his contemporaries and fans will become inevitable as the 3 roles he is about to play are said to be that of a young man, an old man and a person with feminine characteristics.
No wonder, famed make-up man Sean Foot of Weta Workshop has been roped in to take care of Siva's looks in the movie. Now if we look back at history, heroes who have portrayed 3 different roles effectively have gone on to become big stars, Ajith being a prime example.
Sivakarthikeyan's 3 get-ups sounds a lot similar to what Thala Ajith did in Varalaru; an old man, a young man and a man with feminine attributes. Not only did Ajith win a Filmfare Award for the film but he also gained respect as an actor among his fellow actors and fans.
Though Sivakarthikeyan might achieve something similar through his next flick, it remains to be seen if he can outperform Ajith which is no mean task.

Playing the roles of inspector Sethupathy, mechanic Raja and a dwarf Appu, Kamal had set a benchmark back in 1989 for actors wanting to play triple roles. The film was a blockbuster and completed 600-day run at the box office with about 20 million tickets sold, which was the highest for any Tamil movie at that time.
Ajith In Varalaru
As mentioned earlier, Varalaru instantly became one of Ajith's most important films of his career. More than anything else, the fearlessness exhibited by the Mankatha star back in 2006 was praised by critics, fans and other celebrities.
Vikram In 'I'
From a bodybuilder to a model to an ugly looking person with a hunchback, it can be safely said that Vikram went a step ahead in portraying 3 different looks on screen. His efforts to get the looks of each and every character right is not something which can be done on a regular basis.

It is being widely reported that Suriya's upcoming movie 24 will have him playing 3 roles with different get-ups. The movie is being directed by Vikram Kumar of Manam fame(Telugu).
