We
had
earlier
informed
that
Dhanush's
Anegan
had
grossed
30
crore
rupees
worldwide
from
its
first
three
days
at
the
box
office.
Here
is
a
look
at
the
detailed
collections
from
the
opening
weekend.
While
it
collected
10.65
crores
on
its
opening
day,
it
went
on
to
pile
19.85
crores
in
the
next
two
days(Saturday
and
Sunday)
taking
the
overall
tally
to
30.5
crores.
The
film
entered
its
second
week
two
days
ago
and
like
any
other
movie,
it
faced
the
acid
test
on
Monday(fourth
day).
Though
the
number
of
shows
were
increased
considerably,
the
collections
saw
a
drop
on
Monday
as
expected.
On
Monday,
the
Dhanush
starrer
collected
2.3
crore
rupees(approx)
and
the
total
gross
from
India
as
of
Monday
stood
at
20.42
crore
rupees.
However,
according
to
reports,
the
film
ran
to
packed
houses
on
Tuesday
and
Wednesday
at
some
theatres
in
Chennai
and
the
box
office
numbers
for
fifth
and
sixth
day
is
expected
soon.
Based
on
its
terrific
opening,
Anegan
has
been
declared
a
hit
already
which
makes
it
two
in
a
row
for
Dhanush
in
Tamil.
Last
couple
of
years
has
been
really
good
for
the
Velaiyilla
Pattathari
star
and
Dhanush
can
now
be
considered
as
a
bankable
actor
among
others
in
Kollywood.
His
upcoming
film
Maari
will
now
be
looked
upon
with
keen
interest
by
fans
and
movie
buffs.
It
is
to
be
seen
if
Dhanush
can
continue
his
magical
run
at
the
box
office
when
Maari
hits
the
screens.
The
Balaji
Mohan
directorial
is
being
bankrolled
by
Sarathkumar,
Raadhika
Sarathkumar
and
Listin
Stephen.
