Harsh Irony: Director Saravanan Of Engaeyum Eppothum Fame Escapes Death!

Former assistant of AR Murugadoss and director Saravanan of Engaeyum Eppothum fame met with an accident today morning near Perambalur, according to a source.

Saravanan, who shot to fame through his hit debut movie went on to direct films like Ivan Veramathiri and Valiyavan. He is now recuperating at a Government hospital.

Few reports have claimed that when the director, along with his associate Gautham, were traveling on the Chennai-Trichy highway, his car wobbled as the result of a tyre burst.

Unable to control the jiggle, Saravanan had to give up his battle against momentum, hoping that friction would soon bring the car to a halt, thereby incurring a few injuries.

It is said that AR Murugadoss has already spoken to the concerned doctors and that both Saravanan and Gautham will be moved to a hospital in Chennai by tonight.

Apart from the above mentioned Tamil movies, Saravanan has also directed a Telugu flick named Ganesh Just Ganesh and is currently working on Puneeth Rajkumar's Kannada film, Production No 1.

Harsh irony about this incident is that Engaeyum Eppothum is about road accidents and the film aims at bringing about a positive change to the way we drive our vehicles.
