First Weekend (5 Days) Box Office Collections Of 10 Endrathukulla & Naanum Rowdydhaan

We had earlier reported that two Tamil movies, 10 Endrathukulla (10 Enradhukulla) and Naanum Rowdydhaan would gain big from its 5 day opening weekend (21st to 25th October) and that its respective box office collections would be a matter of great interest, by the end of the long weekend.

While 10 Endrathukulla had Vikram and Samantha in the lead, Naanum Rowdydhaan had an interesting lead pair in Vijay Sethupathi and Nayantara. So which among these two movies managed to shine at the box office?

As it turns out, both these flicks have benefited almost equally from the 5 day weekend. Well, at least in the city of Chennai as the box office figures taken from the capital city looks almost identical for both Vikram and Vijay starrer.

While 10 Endrathukulla has collected 1.65 Crore rupees, Naanum Rowdydhaan has amassed 1.44 Crores by the end of the first weekend in Chennai.

Though the official overseas box office numbers are yet to be made available for 10 Endrathukulla, Naanum Rowdydhaan is said to have collected big for a Vijay Sethupathi starrer, in countries like USA and France.

In the Land of Liberty, Naanum Rowdydhaan has reportedly collected $153K which when converted to INR becomes, 99.4 Lakhs. In France, the comic caper is said to have amassed more than 7 Lakh rupees, which is a first for any Vijay Sethupathi movie.
