Kamal Haasan Joins the List Of Donors, Makes A Contribution Of 15 Lakh Rupees
After being surrounded by a lot of controversies pertaining to his comments on the Tamil Nadu government's course of action after being hit by the worst flood in over a century, 'Ulaganayagan' Kamal Haasan has finally made it to the headline on a positive note.
After remaining inactive for a while, even as his contemporaries were busy contributing in order to help our state get back on its feet, the master actor has finally donated 15 Lakh rupees to the Chief Minister Relief Fund.
The donation was made through the Actors' Association (Nadigar Sangam) when Kamal's manager met Karthi (current Treasurer) to give away the cheque.
Another actor who recently contributed by donating money is Jiiva. He made a donation of 10 Lakh rupees through Nadigar Sangam.
Meanwhile, superstar's donation of 10 Crore rupees is said to be a mere rumour. Rajinikanth's PRO, while replying to a fan on a social networking site has confirmed that the news is untrue.
