confirmed
that
the
star
actor
will
indeed
work
on
a
Tamil-Hindi
bilingual
post
Thoonga
Vanam
and
that
the
Tamil
version
of
the
project
is
titled
as
Thalaivan
Irukiran.
Interestingly,
this
very
title
was
shared
by
Kamal
Haasan
5
years
ago
and
a
few
reports
had
claimed
that
the
film
would
feature
Salman
Khan,
but
the
project
did
not
materialize.
It
is
to
be
seen
if
Kamal
is
actually
reviving
the
project
or
just
holding
on
to
its
title.
Meanwhile,
sources
have
said
that
Saif
Ali
Khan's
presence
in
the
movie
is
not
yet
finalized
as
of
now.
However,
it
is
said
that
the
film
which
will
portray
Kamal's
character
with
negative
shades
will
have
a
top
Hindi,
Malayalam
and
Telugu
actor
respectively.
The
film
which
will
reportedly
have
Indian
political
system
as
its
base
will
be
directed
by
'Kalaignani'
Kamal
himself,
thus
marking
his
comeback
to
Hindi
cinema.
