Sources close to Kamal Haasan have confirmed that the star actor will indeed work on a Tamil-Hindi bilingual post Thoonga Vanam and that the Tamil version of the project is titled as Thalaivan Irukiran.
Interestingly, this very title was shared by Kamal Haasan 5 years ago and a few reports had claimed that the film would feature Salman Khan, but the project did not materialize.
It is to be seen if Kamal is actually reviving the project or just holding on to its title. Meanwhile, sources have said that Saif Ali Khan's presence in the movie is not yet finalized as of now.
However, it is said that the film which will portray Kamal's character with negative shades will have a top Hindi, Malayalam and Telugu actor respectively.
The film which will reportedly have Indian political system as its base will be directed by 'Kalaignani' Kamal himself, thus marking his comeback to Hindi cinema.
Stay tuned for further updates regarding both Thoonga Vanam and Thalaivan Irukiran.
