Kollywood has been blessed with some amazing father-son duos over the years. Or should we say almost everyone have follow their father's footsteps in Tamil cinema?

Well whatever the reality is, Kollywood right now is packed with some uber cool father-son duos who continue to work in tandem even today.

Kollywood's Top 10 Father-Son Duos!

Over the last decade, these below mentioned list of fathers and their sons have become such a prominent part of Kollywood that it almost becomes unimaginable to think of Tamil cinema without them.

While a few dad's have launched their sons into the film fraternity all by themselves, majority of them have laid back to see their sons making their respective debuts through others.

But the most important and undeniable fact is, almost all of them have so far carried on their father's legacies and a few of them have even managed to surpass them.

Digest this, as per the records, Kasthuri Raja was the one who launched Dhanush, but today, many movie buffs might not even know who Kasthuri Raja is while they can tell all the upcoming movies of Dhanush.

Vijayakumar is one of the most respected actors in Kollywood. He first was introduced as a hero, tried his hand at some negative roles which earned him success and later on became one of the most successful character artist. He is currently working in Vijay's upcoming movie Puli. Arun Vijay so far has had a mixed career with just over 20 films. His upcoming movie is titled as Vaa Deal and has managed to create some buzz so far.

Sathyaraj too is one of the most versatile actor Tamil cinema has ever seen with over 125 films under his belt. His son Sibiraj however, is not as successful as him. Having said that, his latest release Naaigal Jaakirathai, which was produced by Sathyaraj did well at the box office and he would be hoping for a change of fortunes in his acting career.

K. Bhagyaraj-Shanthanu

K. Bhagyaraj is an actor-director and his films were absolutely loved by everyone at his time. Unfortunately his son Shanthanu still has a mountain of sorts to climb before delivering half of what his father has achieved so far.
