Stunt performer and actor Shihan Hussaini who has made prominent appearances in many Tamil films has performed a crucifixion act by driving nails right into his hands and feet. He has claimed that the daring act is a form of protest to bring J Jayalalitha back as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.
Shihan Hussaini, who is better known for his role as a
kick-boxing coach in the Ilayathalapathy Vijay starrer Badri has attracted many
criticisms for his daredevilry stunt. On probing more, it is
learned that Shihan Hussaini's act was planned well in advance and
it is not new for him to take up such challenges.
As he is a professional stuntman, he has performed many stunts
in the past and has also attempted to get his name in the book of
Guinness World Records. There are also talks that the crucifixion
act could be a publicity stunt to attract attention by using the
former Chief Minister's name.
Also, Shihan Hussaini had shared on his social networking page
that he was getting prepared for a crucifixion stunt but did not
mention anywhere that it would be done in support of J Jayalalitha.
Looks like the decision to include Jayalalitha's name in the stunt
was decided at the last moment.
He was also seen wearing a T-shirt that read 'amma' while
performing the stunt. Shihan Hussaini is also a popular TV
personality who has hosted a number of self defence shows and
