In an interview to Behindwoods, the film's editor Praveen KL has
exhibited similar level of confidence by calling Masss,
one of Suriya's
best till date.
He has also said that Suriya's role will be loved by his fans as
he has not done such a local character in his career and that this
would turn out to be an important film for him.
When asked about other contributions, the editor has spilled the
beans by telling that Nayantara would shine in her character even
though she doesn't have much of a screen space.
If not Nayantara, then who would enjoy an extended run in
Masss other than Suriya? The answer seems to be Premji as
he would be seen as Suriya friend and would be seen until the end,
according to the famed editor.
"Venkat reserves the best moments for his brother and uses his
mannerisms and style well. This(Masss) will be even more
substantial for him than Biriyani", Praveen has said.
Having acquired more than 400 screens in the home state alone,
Masss is gearing up for a huge release in Tamil as well as
Telugu come 29th May. Will it live up to its expectations? Stay
tuned to know.
