It
was
earlier
speculated
that
Superstar
Rajinikanth
might
join
hands
with
one
of
the
most
successful
directors
of
Indian
cinema,
AR
Murugadoss.
With
talks
pertaining
to
the
same
heading
in
the
right
direction,
looks
like
Rajinikanth's
next
will
indeed
be
directed
by
the
Ghajini
director.
Though
the
official
news
is
yet
to
surface,
multiple
reliable
sources
indicate
that
the
project
might
take
shape
in
either
June
or
July.
Sources
have
also
confirmed
that
Murugadoss
has
already
narrated
an
out
and
out
commercial
entertainer
for
which
Rajini
has
given
his
consent.
With
Aascar
Ravichandran,
who
tasted
success
with
Shankar's
I,
likely
to
bankroll
the
project,
things
might
get
really
magnificent
for
obvious
reasons.
Since
Superstar's
last
two
projects,
Kochadaiiyaan
and
Lingaa,
were
not
up
to
the
viewers'
expectations,
this
Murugadoss-Rajinikanth
project
might
bring
back
the
much
sought
after
Rajini's
magic
on
the
silver
screen.
Interestingly,
if
this
project
starts
rolling
this
year,
it
might
take
Enthiran
2
starring
Rajinikanth
out
of
the
equation.
It
could
effectively
mean
that
Shankar
might
start
his
sci-fi
sequel
without
the
original
robot,
Chitti.
Has
Rajinikanth
decided
to
sideline
Enthiran
2
and
go
ahead
with
the
Murugadoss
project?
Or
is
there
another
twist
in
the
tale?
