Even as many top rated actors and actresses across India consider it as an honour and blessing to work with the veteran actress Sridevi, director Chimbu Deven has reportedly revealed that Sridevi interpreted her participation in Puli as a prestigious opportunity to work with Vijay.
His answer had come across as a pleasant surprise to many, specially Ilayathalapathy Vijay fans, when he was being asked how he managed to rope in a star as big as Sridevi in his upcoming movie.
With everything right being said about the Vijay starrer and with a grand audio launch that took place on August 2nd, everyone are gearing up for the release of the film.

The Film Has 2200 VFX Shots
According to the latest report by Sify.com, Kamalakannan has said that Puli will have a total of 2200 VFX shots. He has also said that director Chimbu Deven initially wanted to house 2700 such shots but was later content with 2200.
Puli Creates A New Record
Famed visual effects specialist Kamalakannan who has worked in movies like Naan Ee and Magadheera has said that Puli is the first movie in which he had to work on so many VFX shots. While Naan Ee had 1200 such shots, Magadheera had 1700 VFX shots, he has revealed.
Russia Is The Best
Though the CG works is being taken care in different studios across different countries, it is said that Russians are the best in handling these works and thus most difficult CG shots have been given to them, according to the report.
150 Technicians At Work
A whopping 150 technicians are working on the visual effects of Puli as you are reading this article. Kamalakannan has also revealed that all works pertaining to the VFX of Puli should be wrapped up pretty soon as the movie is getting ready for a September 17th release.

The VFX specialist has said that this is the second time he is working with Vijay as he took care of the CG work in the song 'Paapu' from the film Kushi way back in 2000.
