Yes, after Malayalam cinema's highest grosser ever Drishyam was remade in Kannada, Telugu, Hindi and Tamil, Thani Oruvan's script has got a similar respect as it might be remade in Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali and Marathi.
According to a report from Times of India, M Raja, the person who helmed Thani Oruvan has confirmed that talks are on to remake the film in the said languages.
While a prominent Bengali production house might walk away with the remake rights, actress Genelia has expressed interest to come up with a Marathi version of Thani Oruvan.
We had earlier reported that Salman Khan might star in the Hindi version which might be directed by Raja himself. While the Velayudham director has revealed that he is yet to decide on his Hindi directorial debut, Ram Charan and Puneet Rajkumar are reportedly keen to star in the Telugu and Kannada version respectively.
