With Sivakarthikeyan's Rajini Murugan facing a deferment, two prominent and exciting movies will clash at the box office on September 17th. While GV Prakash's Trisha Illana Nayanthara is a romantic drama, Nayantara's Maya is a horror flick.
According to the latest update, both these movies were screened to the chosen ones as a part of a special preview. The word that is spreading from the preview has it that both Trisha Illana Nayanthara and Maya might attain box office success.
Since early reviews indicate that both the films are good in their own right, it should indeed be an interesting battle at the box office come September 17th.
As far as Trisha Illana Nayanthara is concerned, it is said that the film is on the lines of American Pie. Not surprisingly, many youngsters are eagerly waiting for the film's release.
When it comes to Maya, It is yet another horror film, but it needs to be seen if it manages to spook us thoroughly or if it aims to deliver messages sans horror, as we saw in the recently released Strawberry.
While Trisha Illana Nayanthara is directed by Adhik Ravichandran and produced by CJ Jayakumar, Maya has been helmed by Ashwin Saravanan and is bankrolled by Potential Studios.
