TR Wants 1 Crore Rupees For Using His Dialogues In The Song 'Dandanakka' From Romeo Juliet

We had earlier informed you that T Rajendar(TR) was upset with the team of Romeo Juliet and had slapped them with a legal notice for using some of his film dialogues in the song 'Dandanakka'.

Despite claiming that the song was intended to praise TR and not to defame him by the producers of the Jayam Ravi-Hansika starrer, the veteran actor-director has claimed a compensation of 1 crore rupees.

Legal notices has been sent to the film's producer S. Nanthagopal, music composer D. Imman, lyricist Rokesh and Anirudh, who has sung the song, according to sources close to TR.

Claiming that TR's voice has already been removed from the song, Nanthagopal has said, "We are yet to receive a notice but Imman has already got it. We are still trying to sort out things amicably and have removed the part TR took offense to".

So why is TR still upset even after removing the part that involves his dialogues? A close source to the famed actor asks, "What is the use of modifying the song now after it has been viewed by millions? TR sir feels that if he doesn't respond to this, then everyone in the future would do the same".

Asking the concerned persons to answer TR's lawyer and not him, the source has also claimed that TR is hurt and feels that it is not fair to use his dialogues and defame him.

Will TR get the compensation he wants or will the team of Romeo Juliet succeed in convincing him and settle the issue amicably? Stay tuned for further updates.
