Like it or not, such is the impact this Gautham Menon directorial had on Arun Vijay's life and the same was glorified at an event that witnessed the Thadaiyara Thaakka actor turning into a producer.
Launching his own production company 'In Cinemas Entertainment', Arun Vijay said his production team will help upcoming talented youngsters to express themselves through cinema.
But Vijaykumar's (veteran actor and Arun Vijay's father) speech was undoubtedly the highlight of the event that unfolded at Russian Cultural Centre in Chennai.
An emotional Vijaykumar aka Vijay admitted that Yennai Arindhaal was a turning point in his son's acting career and thus thanked filmmaker Gautham Menon and Thala Ajith for their opportunity and support.
He said, "I am liable to thank Gautham Menon and Ajith, specially Ajith as he made sure the role of Victor wasn't modified in the film. Victor's role had an equal screen space to that of the main lead and it is because of Ajith's large large-heartedness that particular character was celebrated by everyone".

Bags An Action Thriller
After Yennai Arindhaal, Arun Vijay went on to bag an action thriller titled Vaa Deal opposite Karthika Nair. The film is directed by Shiva Gnanam and is expected to hit the theatre very soon.

Impressed with his performance in Yennai Arindhaal, famed Telugu director Srinu Vaitla roped in Arun for the role of an antagonist in his upcoming movie Bruce Lee starring Ram Charan and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead.

Arun Vijay also revealed that he has been given the responsibility of enacting the lead role in a Hindi movie and that the project will be officially announced shortly.

He has also bagged an important Kannada project in which the Powerstar of Kannada film industry, Puneeth Rajkumar plays the lead role.
Meanwhile Thala 56 Is In Night Mode

2 Songs In Foreign Locations
After completing the shoot for climax portions, which will be wrapped in two days, the team will then move to some foreign locations where two songs will be shot to mark the end of filming Thala 56.
