Vijay's Theri Gets A New Release Date?
Earlier it was speculated that Ilayathalapathy Vijay's Theri, directed by Atlee, will hit the silver screen during the summer of 2016. But according to the latest report, the much anticipated film might not release in the month of April, as expected.
Though the shooting for Theri is almost complete, the makers would want to make sure that the final product is of the highest quality, according to a source close to the project.
This effectively means the post production works of the upcoming film might take a few extra months than anticipated earlier.
However, it is also said that the first half is ready to hit the screen and that post production works pertaining to the second half will begin from January, next year.
The bottom line is Vijay's Theri might not release in April 2016, but might swoop into theatres all over the world in late May or early June.
Theri, which is bankrolled by Kalaipuli S Thanu, has Samantha and Amy Jackson in prominent roles.
