Premam fame Anupama Parameswaran has replaced Shamlee in Dhanush-starrer Tamil political thriller Kodi, which is currently on the floors.
"Shamlee exited the project due to some date issues. The makers have brought Anupama as her replacement and she's expected to join the sets next week," a source from the film's unit told IANS.
Although Shamlee briefly shot for her portion in the film's first schedule, she could not join later as she had already committed to two other projects.
Directed by Durai Senthil Kumar of Ethir Neechal fame, the film also stars Trisha Krishnan, who will be playing a character with grey shades for the first time in her career.
Dhanush essays dual role in the upcoming film, which he is producing under his home banner, Wunderbar Films.
Post Kodi, the Aadukalam actor will join hands with Gautham Menon for the first time for a project titled, Enmel Paayum Thotta.
He will also be seen making his Hollywood debut with Marjane Satrapi's The Fakir and will head back to India to start working on Vetrimaaran's long awaited film, Vada Chennai.
