Dhanush's Next Wrapped Up In Just 50 Days!

Actor Dhanush's latest home production Amma Kannaku, the Tamil remake of Hindi film Nil Battey Sannata starring veteran actress-filmmaker Revathy, has been wrapped up in just 50 days.

"The film went on the floors on January 6 earlier this year. With meticulous planning, the principal shooting has been completed in a short span of 50 days," a source from the film's unit told IANS.

Directed by Ashwini Iyer Tiwari, who had earlier helmed the original, the movie is jointly produced by Anand L Rai, the film-maker who had directed Dhanush's critically acclaimed Raanjhanaa.

The film also features Amala Paul and Samuthirakani in prominent roles.

Meanwhile, the Anegan actor is having his hands full with multiple projects under his belt. While his upcoming film, which has been tentatively titled as 'Rail', has moved into the post-production zone, Trisha starrer Kodi recently went on floors.

Dhanush will also be working on Gautham Menon's Yennai Nokki Paayum Thotta, Vetrimaaran's Vada Chennai and Marjane Satrapi's Hollywood film, The Fakir.
