days.
"The
film
went
on
the
floors
on
January
6
earlier
this
year.
With
meticulous
planning,
the
principal
shooting
has
been
completed
in
a
short
span
of
50
days," a
source
from
the
film's
unit
told
IANS.
Directed
by
Ashwini
Iyer
Tiwari,
who
had
earlier
helmed
the
original,
the
movie
is
jointly
produced
by
Anand
L
Rai,
the
film-maker
who
had
directed
Dhanush's
critically
acclaimed
Raanjhanaa.
The
film
also
features
Amala
Paul
and
Samuthirakani
in
prominent
roles.
Meanwhile,
the
Anegan
actor
is
having
his
hands
full
with
multiple
projects
under
his
belt.
While
his
upcoming
film,
which
has
been
tentatively
titled
as
'Rail',
has
moved
into
the
post-production
zone,
Trisha
starrer
Kodi
recently
went
on
floors.
Dhanush
will
also
be
working
on
Gautham
Menon's
Yennai
Nokki
Paayum
Thotta,
Vetrimaaran's
Vada
Chennai
and
Marjane
Satrapi's
Hollywood
film,
The
Fakir.
