Seenu
Ramasamy,
the
director
responsible
for
fabricating
films
like
Thenmerku
Paruvakaatru
and
Neerparavai,
loses
his
brother
Sathish,
according
to
a
report
from
IndiaGlitz.
Sathish,
the
youngest
of
the
lot
in
Seenu's
family
passed
away
in
Madurai,
his
hometown.
The
reason
behind
his
sudden
demise
is
yet
to
be
ascertained.
Survived
by
his
children
and
wife,
Sathish
was
a
free-spoken
man,
it
is
said.
After
serving
as
an
assistant
to
the
legendary
cinematographer
and
director
Balu
Mahendra
for
many
years,
Seenu
Ramasamy
made
his
directorial
debut
through
Koodal
Nagar,
starring
Bharath,
Bhavana,
Sandhya
in
the
year
2007.
He
struck
gold
in
his
very
next
film,
Thenmerku
Paruvakaatru,
which
won
three
National
Film
Awards
,
including
the
one
for
Best
Feature
Film
in
Tamil.
The
film
also
gave
Vijay
Sethupathi
his
first
big
break.
Not
surprisingly,
two
of
his
upcoming
flicks
has
Seenu
Ramasamy
as
its
director.
While
Idam
Porul
Yaeval
is
in
the
post
production
stage
and
is
expected
to
hit
the
big
screen
soon,
Dharma
Durai,
starring
Tamannaah
as
its
female
lead
went
on
floors
recently
and
may
release
before
the
end
of
this
year.
Filmibeat
extends
its
heartfelt
condolences
to
Seenu
Ramasamy
and
Sathish's
family
members.
