Distribution Rights For Ajith's 'Thala 57' Already Sold For A Whopping Price?

The shooting for Ajith's upcoming yet untitled film, which is being referred as 'Thala 57' or 'AK 57', has barely started and already reports are abuzz pertaining to the film's distribution rights.

It is said that the overseas rights of the movie has already been bagged by a popular distribution company for a whopping 20 Crore rupees. The said amount is one of the highest prices offered for a Tamil film in the recent years.

'Thala 57' is Ajith's third time collaboration with director Siva. Thanks to the box office successes of Veeram and Vedalam, great things are expected from this upcoming film as well.

Now that a foreign distributor has set a high benchmark, local distributors too, will not think twice before shelling out Crores of rupees. After all, it is an Ajith-starrer that we are talking about.

Also Starring Kajal Aggarwal and Akshara Haasan in important roles, 'Thala 57' will showcase the Mankatha star as an intepol officer.
