Earlier, sources close to Jayam Ravi had rubbished the reports, which claimed that the star actor's upcoming project with director AL Vijay will narrate the story of Lemuria continent (Kumari Kandam) also known as the lost island, as mere rumours. Now, the team is planning to shoot important sequences on an island!
Yes, according to the latest report, the action entertainer will be extensively shot in Chennai and Andaman islands. While romantic portions will be filmed in the capital city, stunt sequences will be shot in the Southern-most tip of India.
"The film has both action and romance. The romantic part will be shot in Chennai and the action blocks will be canned in Andaman. We will commence the shoot from August and this will be my next project once I finish my current one with Prabhudheva and Tamannaah," Vijay has told a leading daily.
Describing Ravi's character in the movie as "special", the Madrasapattinam director has said his hero will be showcased as a brawny young man.
"We are like family, so I have the same responsibility as what Mohan Raja has when he directs Ravi. This is why I have written a special character for Ravi. He will be sporting a muscular look in my film and will beef up his body once he has finished 'Bogan'," he has said.
Ravi and Vijay have been trying to join hands for a very long time now. In fact, Vijay's first film Kireedam was supposed to star the Jayam actor.
Now that they have, will it be a path-breaking movie which throws light on one of mankind's greatest hidden secrets?
Well, with Ravi himself claiming that this upcoming project will give him and Vijay National recognition, you better brace yourself for something special from this exciting combo.
