Box Office Collections: 'Kadhalum Kadanthu Pogum' To Hand Vijay Sethupathi His Third Hit In A Row?

Earlier, Filmibeat had predicted the weekend box office collections of Kadhalum Kadanthu Pogum in the state of Tamil Nadu.

As it turns out, we were pretty close to the actual box office figures of the movie, after the end of its first three days of theatrical run.

According to credible sources, the Vijay Sethupathi & Madonna starrer has grossed around 7 Crore rupees in Tamil Nadu alone (6.5 Crores is what we had predicted).

This, is said to be one of Vijay Sethupathi's best weekend opener. In Chennai too, the Nalan Kumarasamy directorial is reportedly performing well in many theatres.

Prior to the release of Kadhalum Kadanthu Pogum, Kollywood was abuzz, with many wondering if Vijay Sethupathi can stitch together three back-to-back hits as two of his previous films were box office successes.

Though his latest outing still has a few miles to go before concluding it as a hit, the film is well on its way in handing the Orange Mittai actor his third consecutive hit, which is no mean feat.
