'Ko 2' & 'Pencil': Weekend (First Three Days) Box Office Predictions

Two prominent Tamil movies Ko 2 and Pencil were released last Friday (May 13th). While Ko 2 had Bobby Simha and Nikki Galrani playing the lead, Pencil stars GV Prakash Kumar and Sri Divya in important roles.

Ko 2, a political thriller, opened to average reviews among critics and fans alike, while Pencil gained average to positive reviews among movie goers. Critics though termed Pencil as a decent thriller.

So how are the box office prospects of these two movies in their opening weekend (first three days)? According to trade analysts both these flicks might eat into each others' collections.

It is predicted that GV Prakash's Pencil might do marginally better than Bobby's Ko 2 at the box office throughout Tamil Nadu.

While Ko 2 is expected to gross close to 4.5 Crores from its opening weekend in Tamil Nadu, Pencil might garner 6 Crore rupees, it is said.
