PHOTOS: Ilayathalapathy Celebrates Birthday With Team 'Vijay 60', Celebs Pour In Wishes!

Ilayathalapathy Vijay celebrated his 42nd birthday on the sets of his upcoming film Vijay 60 (see photos below).

Director Bharathan, actors Sathish, Keerthy Suresh, music director Santhosh Narayanan and his wife among others, were seen celebrating the special occasion with the star actor.

Earlier, it was speculated that Vijay might be celebrating his birthday along with his family members in the US. But, being a committed actor that he is, the Theri star chose to work even on his birthday, in an attempt to finish shooting for his next at the earliest.

Meanwhile, other celebrities took to various social media networks to wish Vijay. Being a self-confessed fan of Vijay, musician-actor GV Prakash called him the next superstar of Tamil cinema.

"Advance happy birthday to THE NEXT SUPERSTAR of Tamil cinema undoubtedly ..... Ilayathalapathy @actorvijay," the Trisha Illana Nayanthara actor wrote on Twitter.

Dhanush said, "Happy birthday to my friend and a super mass hero Vijay sir :) have the greatest of years ahead sir."

"Happy birthday to warmest coolest and most friendly @actorvijay Na .. Have a rocking year," Arya posted.

Vishal wrote, "Wish u a Supa happy bday dearest @actorvijay. hav an awesome yr ahead wit loads of success n happiness. God bless."

"Happy Birthday Vijay sir.. My happy birthday dedication to you," said Anirudh and posted the full theme music of Kaththi, 'The Sword of Destiny'.

Jai, who shared screen space with Vijay in his debut movie Bhagavathi said, "Happy Birthday @actorvijay Anna! Love you alwys Thanks for introducing me n showing me d awesome version of my life."
