Superstar Rajinikanth Calls 'Joker' A Brilliant Film, Lauds The Entire Team!

After impressing audiences and critics alike, Tamil socio-political drama Joker has won over superstar Rajinikanth, who has termed it a "brilliant film".

The Raju Murugan directorial released last Friday on August 12th and is successfully running in theatres across Tamil Nadu. Upon its release, the film was praised by fans and general moviegoers.

"I applaud the team of 'Joker'. Brilliant film," Rajinikanth wrote on his official Twitter account on Thursday (August 18).

The Enthiran actor also called the producer of Joker and applauded the entire team. Joker was bankolled by SR Prabhu and SR Prakashbabu under Dream Warrior Pictures.

"Got a call from the one and only superstar Rajini sir! Appreciated the whole team for 'Joker'," producer SR Prabhu posted on the micro-blogging website.

Joker is a political satire about the ills of globalization. The film stars Guru Somasundaram, Ramya Pandian and Gayatri Krishnaa in the lead.
