Suriya's Next With 'PK' Director Rajkumar Hirani?
One of the most successful Indian film-maker Rajkumar Hirani, the man responsible for dishing out Hindi films like PK and Munna Bhai M.B.B.S (remade as Vasool Raja M.B.B.S in Tamil), is hoping to work with Suriya.
"I hope I get to work with Suriya someday. He's a fabulous actor and I've seen some of his impressive work," Hirani told reporters.
Speaking at the audio launch function of Madhavan's upcoming film Irudhi Suttru, Rajkumar Hirani showered praises on Suriya, who was present at the event as a special guest..
The famed film-maker has co-produced the Hindi version of Irudhi Suttru, which has been directed by Sudha Kongara. According to Sudha, Madhavan was instrumental in making the project happen.
"It was Madhavan who took the project to Hirani when we were facing some financial issues," she said at the event, which also saw the attendance of personalities like actor Siddharth and film-maker Bala.
"For many years, Madhavan and I were known as the chocolate boys of the industry. I think he has finally gotten rid off that tag," Siddharth said.
Irudhi Suttru also stars Ritika Singh, Nassar, Radharavi and Kaali Venkat in important roles.The film is expected to hit the theatre on January 29th.
