'Thozha' Tamil Nadu Box Office Collections

Thozha, a Tamil-Telugu bilingual, which released last week (March 25) is holding up well at the box office in Tamil Nadu, according to latest reports.

The film starring Karthi, Nagarjuna and Tamannaah in important roles, has so far grossed more than 10 Crore rupees in the state, with cities like Chennai, Coimbatore and Chengalpet contributing big.

"Mid Week B-O : #Thozha steady especially in 3C's - Chennai, Chengalpet & Coimbatore. Trade feels, a safe bet till next big release on Apr 14," trade analyst Sreedhar Pillai wrote on his official social media page.

Having already crossed the 10 Crore mark in Tamil Nadu alone, Thozha is expected to hand Karthi yet another hit, as the film may run unhindered for the next two weeks.

In the United States though, the film is said to be performing poorly. The reason behind that has to do with the fact that the movie is a remake. Also, free online version of the flick is said to be making the rounds, further affecting the box office collections of Thozha in the US.
