Actor Vaibhav Reddy, who made his Tamil acting debut in Venkat Prabhu's Saroja, is a prominent actor now in the Tamil film industry.
After sharing screen space with Thala Ajith in Mankatha, he went on to act with stars like Nayantara in Nee Enge En Anbe and Vishal in Aambala.
While basking in the success of his latest release Hello Naan Pei Pesuren, the Kappal actor has divulged about his upcoming movie to a leading daily.
The actor has said that the film, to be directed by an assistant of Mysskin, is a comedy thriller on the lines of the superhit Hollywood flick, Birdman.
"The production house of 'Kappal' approached me again for another script. This film will be directed by debutant Abhi, an associate of director Mysskin. The film will be a comedy thriller and story will be on the lines of the Hollywood film 'Birdman'. It is a nice role, and I am really looking forward to shoot for the film," he has said.
He will also be seen in the Mankatha director's upcoming movie, which is a sequel to his superhit debut, Chennai 600028.
"Presently, I am shooting for the sequel of 'Chennai - 28'. We will wrap up the shoot only by May end or June first week. I will begin work on this project by June. The team will be finalising the rest of the cast and crew in a few weeks' time."
Apart from these two exciting projects, Vaibhav is also working on a couple of other films as well. While his Nibunan might release in the next few months, movies like Jindhaa and Adam's Apple have already gone on floors.
