After incurring losses from their previous outing Puli, producers PT Selvakumar and Shibu Thameens are now facing issues in releasing their upcoming flicks, Pokkiri Raja and Iru Mugan.
While Pokkiri Raja, starring Jiiva, Sibiraj and Hansika Motwani in the lead, is bankrolled by Selvakumar under PTS Films International, Vikram's Iru Mugan is produced by Shibu Thameens under his home banner, Thameens Shibu Arts.
Thanks to the losses incurred by distributors, who were in charge of releasing Puli across Tamil Nadu, speculations were rife that they might stage a protest, demanding to stall the release of Pokkiri Raja, as Selvakumar had failed to repay them after the debacle faced by the Vijay starrer.
With apprehension lurking around and some even saying that Iru Mugan too, may face a similar fate at the time of its release, Selvakumar and Thameens have decided to repay the distributors, according to a report.
It is said that they are ready to pay 30 percent of the total losses incurred and that payment will be made in two installments.
While distributors are expected to receive half of the total amount after the release of Pokkiri Raja, remaining half will be paid after Iru Mugan hits the screen, it is said.
