Chandramukhi 2 is the latest family horror film laced with a generous dose of comedy starring Raghava Lawrence and Kangana Ranaut in the lead roles. The movie is a sequel to the epic film Chandramukhi (2005), starring Rajinikanth and is written and directed by P Vasu.

The horror-comedy hit the screens on September 28 to a positive to mixed reactions from the fans and cinephiles. Critics reviewed Chandramukhi 2 as an attempt that has been wasted on a high budget and star cast, with nothing new to showcase or explore. Some even remarked that the movie is just another remake of the old film with substandard graphics and CGI.

Chandramukhi 2 Cast

The sequel stars Raghava Lawrence as Vettaiyan and Raja in a dual role. Kangana Ranaut will be seen as Chandramukhi. Vadivelu played the role of Murugesan. In addition, Chandramukhi 2 stars Raadhika Sarathkumar, Lakshmi Menon, Srushti Dange, Mithun Shyam, Mahima Nambiar, Rao Ramesh, Vignesh, Ravi Mariya, Suresh Menon, YG Mahendran, and TM Karthik among others. Late Manobala appeared posthumously in Chandramukhi 2.

Written and directed by P Vasu, the movie is a production venture of Subaskaran Allirajah under his Lyca Productions banner. RD Rajasekhar cranked the camera and Anthony worked as the Editor. Oscar Award-winner MM Keeravani worked as the film's music composer.
