Manimegalai is very popular in the show Cooku with Comali which has been aired on Vijay TV for the last few years. She became famous all over tAMIL Nadu through the show which is very popular among people.

She was already in love with Hussain, who is a dancer. Manimegali was earlier working as a host on Sun Music TV. Hussain and Manimegalai got married in 2017 as their parents did not consent to the marriage.

After her marriage, she left Sun Music and joined Vijay TV. She participated in various shows including Cooku with Comali and gained a lot of fans with her comedy skills. She suddenly left the show Cooku with Comali Season 4 which is currently airing.
