Iraivan, the latest serial killer thriller film starring Jayam Ravi and Nayanthara in the key roles hit the screens on September 28 worldwide. The movie met with a mixed response from the critics and fans post its theatrical release.

Within a couple of weeks, the movie Iraivan is ready to make its digital streaming debut.

Iraivan Premise

A city lives in fear of a psychotic killer, and confidence in the police wanes. Arjun and Andrew finally arrest the killer but he escapes from custody. Chaos reigns again. Meanwhile, ACP Arjun resigns from the force following the death of his friend Andrew, who dies trying to nab the killer. He begins taking care of Andrew's family, but the killer's escape stirs things up.

Iraivan OTT Date & Time Released

The movie's digital streaming debut date was announced as October 26 by the makers and OTT giant Netflix. After its unsuccessful theatrical run, Iraivan is entering the OTT platform a bit earlier than usual. Accordingly, the movie will hit the streaming platform in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.

The movie stars Jayam Ravi as ACP Arjun, Nayanthara as Priya, Rahul Bose as Smiley Killer, Vinoth Kishan as Babu, Narain as ACP Andrew, Lachu, Vijayalakshmi Ahathian as Jasmine, Ashish Vidyarthi as DGP Hari, and Bhagavathi Perumal among others in important characters.

The movie written and directed by I Ahmed was bankrolled by Jerish Raja under the Passion Studios banner. The movie's cinematography was handled by Hari K Vedantam, and editing was done by JV Manikanda Balaji. Yuvan Shankar Raja composed the film's entire background score and music.
