Sarathkumar
Claims
His
Own
Speech
As
A
'Joke':
When
Sarathkumar
said
that
he
will
live
till
150
years
old,
his
speech
went
viral
on
social
media.
Now
he
replied
to
the
controversial
statement
and
called
it
as
a
joke.
'I'm
Just
25
Years
Old'
Speaking
at
the
general
committee
meeting
of
the
Samathuva
Makkal
Katchi
held
in
Madurai
recently,
party
leader
Sarath
Kumar
said,
"I
am
69
years
old
now
and
nearing
70
years.
But,
I
am
still
thinking
myself
as
a
25-year-old
person
and
I
will
live
to
be
150
years.
I
can
be
like
that.
I
have
learned
the
trick.
I
will
tell
that
gimmick
when
you
enthrone
me
in
2026
assembly
elections," he
said.
His
speech
went
viral
on
social
media
and
attracted
attention.
'Impossible
To
Live
Upto
150
Years'
In
this
case,
Sarathkumar,
speaking
to
the
media
after
the
trailer
launch
of
the
film
'Por
Thozhil',
said,
"While
speaking
in
a
meeting,
I
told
in
a
comical
way
to
ease
the
tension
of
the
people
around
me.
I
am
surprised
when
what
I
said
becomes
such
a
big
news.
Just
think
if
someone
can
live
for
150
years.
There
have
been
many
changes
starting
from
our
food
habits
to
our
lifestyle.
It
is
the
younger
generation
who
are
more
prone
to
fall
ill.
It
is
a
wonder
that
a
man
can
stay
healthy
till
the
age
of
70.
Our
ancestors
two
generations
ago
may
have
lived
to
a
much
older
age.
Living
to
the
age
of
150
in
this
period
is
an
impossibility.
In
highlands
where
healthy
diets
exist,
living
to
90
years
may
be
possible.
It
is
difficult
in
the
environment
we
are
in."
When
asked
about
his
dream
to
become
the
Chief
Minister
of
Tamil
Nadu,
"A
party
worker
has
a
desire
to
see
his
party
leader
as
the
Chief
Minister.
I
have
that
desire
too.
This
cannot
be
denied.
Why
lie?
I
will
try
it.
Anyone
can
try," he
said.
