Throwback: When Prabhu Deva's First Wife Cursed Nayanthara For “Wrecking Their 16-Year-Old Marriage”

It is well known that Nayanthara had a rough past when it comes to relationships. Initially, she was in a relationship with Silambarasan TR, which was later called off by the duo as it did not work out between them. Later, she got into a relationship with actor, filmmaker, and choreographer Prabhu Deva, who was married to one Ramlath back when they started their relationship.

After the relationship between Nayanthara and Prabhu Deva became public, the former even tattooed the latter's name in her forearm. But obviously, things did not go well with Prabhu Deva's first wife Ramlath. She appeared in several press meets and interviews where she spoke about Nayanthara and how she spoiled her marriage.

In a throwback interview, Ramlath even said she would "kick and curse Nayanthara if she ever gets a chance to see her in person." However, Nayanthara and Prabhu Deva did not end up with each other and his wedding with Ramlath was also called off.

Meanwhile, Nayanthara married her long-term boyfriend and filmmaker Vignesh Shivan last year in a regal wedding ceremony. The event was attended by the big shots of the industry including the likes of Rajinikanth, Shah Rukh Khan, and Gautham Vasudev Menon to name a few.

On the other hand, Prabhu Deva met another woman named Himani Singh in 2020. The low-key wedding received much attention from the public. However, due to personal reasons, Himani preferred staying away from the public eye. But she recently appeared in a reality show virtually and made a public appearance for the first time. So, there is nothing much that is known to the fans about Himani.

On the acting front, Nayanthara will be next seen in the Hindi movie Jawan led by Shah Rukh Khan. The film directed by Atlee Kumar marks her debut Bollywood appearance.
