Crux Of The Story

Vijay Sethupathi's name in this film is 'Punithan'. He is a Sri Lankan refugee. He has a great passion for music. So he wants to join a band in London at an early age. But by then the Sri Lankan police arrest him. A few years later he comes out of jail and comes to India. Punithan joins Megha Akash in a band in Kodaikanal.

On the other hand, he is applying for a concert in London. But due to many issues including nationality and identity card, he could not leave the country. In fact, he couldn't even afford a cell phone. So Punithan applies to join the refugee camp using the identity of Kirubanidhi, who disappeared from the refugee camp at a young age.

On the other hand, the police are looking for Kirubanidhi. Will Punithan attend the event in London? is the crux of the story.

Vijay Sethupathi's love for music, Mohan Raja and Megha Akash's father daughter affection, the scenes including the church buried in the landslide are said to be mind-blowing.

Vivek has played the role of a Church Father in the film. As usual, he has done his role beautifully.
