Adaikalam Preview

Kaladas Creations is back to the fore with their fourth venture, Adaikalam. Earlier they produced movies such as Veedu, Pagalil Oru Pournami and Poovae Unnai Naesithaen. It should be noted that actress Archana received National award for her performance in the movie Veedu. This fact testifies to the quality of movies produced by Kaladas Creations. Let us hope that they repeat it in Adaikalam.

Adaikalam is the 70th movie of Prashanth. A unique feature of this movie is that it has no heroine. Kavi Perarasu Vairamuthu has penned the lyrics. He says, 'the song, 'Vilakku Ondru Anaindhu Ponaal' is sure to captivate the audience, especially women'. Sabesh-Murali team has composed the music for this movie. Sankar Mahadevan, Thippu, Krishnaraj, Madhu Balakrishnan, Sujatha, Sornalatha, Anuradha Sriram, Sadhanasargam and Hariharan have rendered their voice.

This movie was shot for 42 days in Kanyakumari and for 10 days in T.R.Garden. A marriage hall was converted into a house for the shooting. Thyagarajan and Prashanth have enacted the roles of father and son, respectively. Saranya plays the role of Prashanth's mother, while Uma plays the role of his sister. Radharavi, Jeeva, and Ravichandran are also in the cast. Nalini is making a guest appearance.

The producer's son, Murali Sri Narayanadas, is making his debut by donning a vital role. T.Ananthkumar who is the cinematographer of K.S.Ahiyamaan's Sornamukhi is handling the camera for this movie too.

Director Bhuvanaraja has put in his best to make this movie a memorable one. As this movie deals with family relationships between father, mother, son, daughter, uncle, and aunt, it is sure to appeal to the audience. This movie will contain earthy characters. That's what the director says. It is expected to be a spicy, racy entertainer highlighting family bonds and sentiments.
