Sathya Jyoti Films and Sathya movies together devote another hit to the Tamil film Industry - Em-Magan, a movie based on family values which exhibits real life issues in a superb way. Nasser plays the role of Emtton who owns a general grocery shop. His son Krishna (Bharath), a young college boy also takes care of the shop. Emtton is an arrogant man. His wife, daughter and son are afraid of him and follow his instructions without any arguments. He wants his son to dedicate his time to the shop rather than his studies.
Krishna's college mate Dhivya (Gajala) offers him a job at his father".s office but Krishna refuses, as he loves his family a lot.
Karupatti (Vadivelu) respects Krishna's feelings and always supports him in his tight corners. Krishna's grandfather's death brings a turning point in the movie. Emtton and his family leave for the village to attend the final ceremony of his grandfather. After a span of 10 years, Krishna meets his cousin Janani (Gopika) and their love get refreshed. However, both families get to know about their love and oppose their love which results in a fight between families. In a bad mood. Emtton moves returns to the city. Janani hides in the car without anybody noticing. But when Emtton reaches home, he discovers Janani as she gets out of the car. He thinks that Krishna has brought her to the city, Does he accept their love? Watch the movie to see as to what happens to their relationship.
Bharath's performance, both as a obedient son and a faithful lover, is magnificent. The great comedian has also played well in the supporting role of Karupatti. Nasser, as Emtton, has played a different role and reaches new heights in acting. Gopika's acting as a true love and the way she is ready to do anything to win her love is astounding. Other cast members like Saranya and Shanmuganathan have also delivered their roles with perfection.
Director M. Thirumurugan and his group have done a great job delivering an excellent movie reflecting family values and true love. Vidhyasagar has given exceptional music, which should contribute to the movie's success. His song "Kolli Kuntu Kanna Padal" is one of the hit songs of the movie. The producer of the blockbuster hits Munraam Pirai, Killaku Vasal and Parthiban Kanavu, T.G. Thiagarajan has produced this movie in accordance with the current family trends.
EM-Magan showcases how a family should be in today's times.
