Mareechan
(Jayaram)
disguised
as
a
deer
to
attract
Sita
for
Ravana
gets
killed
by
Lord
Rama's
arrow.
He
is
also
cursed
that
he
will
remain
a
rock,
till
somebody
comes
to
free
him
after
a
few
centuries.
Then
the
story
jumps
to
the
modern
day.
Rajaram
(Nasser)
is
a
rich
estate
owner
in
Ooty
whose
relatives,
M.S.
Bhaskar,
Ilavarasu
and
Mayilsamy
exploit
him
and
wait
to
loot
the
entire
property.
At
that
time
a
girl
namely
Sita
(Saranya
Mohan)
enters
the
house
as
Rajaram's
PA,
and
realizes
the
plan
of
his
relatives.
Now
the
comedy
trio
wants
to
bump
off
Sita
who
has
fallen
in
love
with
the
cook
of
the
house
Sriram
(Aravind).
They
appoint
a
killer
Pandi
(Karnas)
and
his
assistant
(Ganja
Karuppu).
She
is
thrown
off
a
cliff,
but
lands
on
Mareechan's
rock
and
his
curse
is
lifted.
Mareechan
is
indebted
to
Sita,
who
is
the
only
person
who
can
see
him
and
thus
becomes
her
protector.
Meanwhile
Manickam
(Nassar)
a
dark
and
illiterate
fisherman
gives
freedom
to
a
Genie
Idumban
(Raju
Easwaran),
whose
only
purpose
has
been
to
be
to
marry
Mandakini
(Samiksha),
Mareechan's
wife!
After
the
mythological
fights
and
graphical
efforts
the
evil
forces
are
vanished
and
Mareechan
help
the
good
people
to
get
back
their
property.
There
is
no
need
to
bother
about
the
logic
and
other
minor
mistakes
in
the
film.
The
main
aim
of
the
producer
is
to
give
a
clean
entertainment.
That
aim
is
fulfilled
successfully
and
the
director
has
delivered
the
right
things
to
the
children.
M.S
Bhaskar,
Ilavarasu,
Karnas,
Ganja
Karuppu,
and
Mayilsamy
try
to
make
it
a
laughter
riot.
Veteran
actors
Nasser,
Jayaram
and
Prakash
Raj
play
their
parts
with
ease
and
professional
touch.
Saranya
Mohan
looks
good
and
delivers
some
talents.
Sundar
C
Babu's
music
is
a
pass
muster.
