First, she impressed the fans through her lead character in Naagin and then left everyone mesmerized when she played the Bengali Beauty in her recent Bollywood film Gold. Though Mouni found a huge success in the film industry, she had expressed her desire to return to television. In a recent interview with the daily Hindustan Times, Mouni Roy has made a statement saying she can't think of long-term ambitions! Read below to know why.
She Can Only Focus On The Present
Mouni Roy's journey through television is highly inspiring. When asked what drives her, she said, "I am a very hard-working person and I can't think of long-term ambition. I can only focus on the present. I am a combination of hard work and talent."
Mouni's Mantra To Success
Talking about the importance of focusing on the present, Mouni said, "Being a good person is also important, and that is something I have realised over a period of time. If you keep doing that, and live your present, you can build a future and that is what I strive for every day. I focus 200% on my present."
Her Driving Force
"You have to be very clear [when it comes to your career]. I love acting and what I do and that is my driving force," she said while talking about her passion towards what she does.
Acting Is A Difficult Process
Similar to many successful actors, Mouni Roy also feels the pressure of having to adapt constantly. She said, "There is a whole process and it is supposed to be difficult. I have always thought that the process is excruciating, but at the same time if the process is not difficult, I feel the outcome is not as good."
