Will Mona continue to be our Jassi?

Think of Jassi and what strike you first are her over sized glasses and her braces. She very soon became the working-class icon through the serial 'Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin'. Her transformation and achievement in the serial have shown what women can achieve. She very well had become the face of the middle-class working women. But what if the face is suddenly replaced?

Jassi aka Mona Singh's contract with 'Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin' expired in May 2005 and this means we shall not see more of Mona as Jassi. So does this mean Mona will be replaced by some new face as Jassi or will 'Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin', Sony's leading show, wind up? If rumours are to be believed the soap will be winding up by Feb 16 and will be replaced by a new reality show 'Paisa Bhari Ho Gaya'.
