Aamir Sanjeeda win Nach Baliye 3 amidst controversy

Aamir Ali and Sanjeeda Sheikh have been crowned champions of the Nach Baliye 3 after some high voltage dance that lasted for 13 weeks. They defeated the jodi of Rakhi Sawant and Abhishek Awasthi. The duo won a cash prize of Rs 2 million and drove home a Chevrolet Optra. Their choreographers Arun and Chetan also won a prize money of Rs.1 million.

Bollywood hunk Salman Khan was gave away the prize to the winner and was also seen shaking his legs to the numbers playing. When the results were announced drama queen Rakhi Sawant created a scene upon loosing the contest. She stormed out of the stage with boyfriend Abhishek Awasthi and was not even present to collect the runners up trophy. She later alleged that the results were manipulated and Star Plus had used her as a publicity tool for the event.

The couple alleged that their voting lines were closed much before the deadline and thus their friends and well wishers could not vote for them. They added that the channel wanted one of its own members to win so Sanjeeda who star in Kayamat had to win the contest. Rakhi and Abhishek however clarified that they had nothing personal against Aamir and Sanjeeda and think they are a sweet couple.
