Amitabh contemplating TV comeback!

By Super Admin

Wednesday, June 13, 2007It may seem like actor Amitabh Bachchan has been there and done that for every kind of role that comes his way. The actor at 60 plus has tried his hand at all kinds of role, negative roles, singing, dancing, music albums, television etc. In fact Amitabh made a comeback with a second innings in Bollywood with game show 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' on television. And now the actor is all set to enthrall his fans once more with a stint on television. The actor confirms that he will soon be returning to TV.

Amitabh Bachchan says, "I'm definitely doing television again. Talks are on with several channels and I plan to take up one or maybe more of these offers shortly." So right now several channels are scrambling onto the Big B's doorstep with unique scripts for him to read and choose.

So which channel will bag a contract with the Big B remains to be seen? And the opportunities for Amitabh are limitless and he says, "It could be another non-fictional show but I'm not ruling out fiction either. I've a whole bunch of proposals from a whole bunch of channels." So it maybe likely that the audience may get to view their favourite hero in a 'K' soap or another game show. Many Bollywood actors have already made their mark on television, Shahrukh Khan, Raveena Tandon etc. So it looks like our tele stars are going to have tough competition coming their way.

Meanwhile, Amitabh has no plans to retire from Bollywood and will simultaneously balance both his film and television career. Offers from Bollywood keep pouring in and there are still umpteen directors waiting to work with him. Amitabh was recently at the Iifa event in Yorkshire as he is the brand ambassador. His entire family, daughter Shweta, son Abhi and new daughter-in-law Ash were all seen having a great time at the event.
