More
and
more
small
screen
stars
are
following
in
the
footsteps
of
their
counterparts
in
Bollywood
and
foraying
into
production.
The
latest
to
fall
in
line
is
the
marble-eyed
hunk,
Chetan
Hansraj,
who
had
come
second
runner-up
in
a
manhunt
contest
before
taking
to
acting
on
TV.
Once
a
state-level
water
polo
player,
Chetan
talks
about
turning
his
dream
of
a
show
on
adventure
sports
into
reality
on
the
small
screen.
You
are
a
successful
actor
on
the
small
screen,
so
why
production?
I
always
dreamt
of
making
my
own
reality-based
adventure
shows.
Now,
I
think
I
have
the
means
to
fulfill
my
dreams.
There
are
no
other
reasons
apart
from
this.
Why
have
you
opted
for
reality
TV
shows
and
not
family
dramas?
My
interest
lies
in
reality
shows.
Besides,
reality
shows
is
the
booming
thing
on
Indian
television
today.
Do
you
think
it
will
be
as
profitable
as
family
dramas?
Yes,
I
definitely
think
so.
Today's
youth
gets
pulled
by
such
shows.
I
am
sure
within
a
few
years
these
kinds
of
shows
would
have
mass
appeal.
When
will
your
show
commence?
As
of
now,
it's
in
the
planning
stage.
I
have
approached
a
few
channels,
the
names
of
which
I
can't
reveal
right
now,
and
I
am
confident
of
a
positive
outcome.
Several
adventure
shows
have
hit
the
Indian
television
market
before
and
they
were
all
inspired
by
foreign
shows.
Will
your
show
be
of
the
same
kind?
I
am
not
a
person
who
believes
in
copying.
And
talking
of
inspiration,
we
all
take
inspiration
from
something
or
the
other.
My
shows
are
inspired
but
I
won't
agree
that
they
are
picked.
Aren't
you
looking
forward
to
act
in
Bollywood
like
many
others
from
your
fraternity?
Yes,
I
am.
In
fact,
I
am
doing
Brham,
a
romantic
thriller,
starring
Dino
Morea,
Milind
Soman
and
Sheetal
Menon.
Are
you
in
the
main
lead?
No,
I
am
in
the
second
lead.
Dino
is
doing
the
main
lead
and
Milind
is
playing
the
negative
character.
