Ekta ends her Cold War with Sony

Friday, November 23, 2007 Television Actresses :Gallery Television Producer Ekta Kapoor finally seems to have come out of her Cold War with Sony Television. When one time friend and enemy Sandeep Sikand part ways with the channel the ice was broken between the channel and the producer. She had not made any soap for the channel for more than year.

The soap queen had launched her soap Khwaish and now with the airing of the new serial Kuch Is Terah it seems to be a perfect home coming for the Czarina of Indian Soap Opera. The soap is inspired by Cinderella and Maid In Manhattan and the main character will resemble with Jennifer Lopez in Maid In Manhattan.

She is also planning to come up with a reality show titled Ticket to Bollywood and promises it will have a completely new format never seen on Indian Television. Ekta promises the show to be the most fair amongst all the reality shows aired so far. Ekta however denies this to be a home coming as she says she never abandoned the channel.
