Ekta
Kapoor's
boycott
does
not
seem
to
have
dampened
the
spirit
of
the
Gold
Awards
function.
This
promises
to
be
one
gala
affair,
what
with
the
location
being
the
exotic
Mauritius
and
the
event
bustling
with
numerous
games
and
fun-filled
activities.
Organised
by
Vikaas
Kalantri
and
Pooja
Ghai
of
White
Leaf
Entertainment,
and
Anuj
Saxena
of
Maverick
Productions,
this
is
the
first
international
television
awards
for
Indian
television.
Most
of
the
guests
left
on
Thursday
night,
for
the
three-day
event.
The
first
day
will
probably
be
the
most
exciting
–
the
organizers
have
lined
up,
for
the
visitors,
volleyball
and
water
polo
matches,
followed
by
sightseeing
and
shopping.
A
beach
party
later
in
the
evening
seems
inevitable.
The
awards
function
itself
will
be
held
on
the
second
day,
followed
by
a
post
event
party
that
will
go
on
till
the
wee
hours
of
the
morning.
Shraddha
Nigam
and
Siddharth
Kannan
will
host
the
Red
Carpet
event,
while
Mandira
Bedi
and
Aman
Verma
will
host
the
awards
function.
Some
of
the
actors
scheduled
to
perform
on
stage
are
Barkha
Bisht,
Indraneel,
Hussain
K,
Manav
Gohil,
Shweta
Kawatra,
Narayani,
and
Gaurav
Chopra.
The
third
day
is
for
the
guests
to
unwind
before
the
journey
back
to
Mumbai.
Looks
like
this
will
be
the
much-needed
break
that
all
the
actors
look
for.
We
bet
they
will
be
back
with
sun-filled
fond
memories.
