Zee TV's successful show Hero Honda Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007 announced it's second season recently. In a bid to reach out to the maximum audiences, both young and old, the channel also announced two major alliances - with Big 92.7 FM and Rediff.com. This strategic alliance will enable Zee TV to take the show to the 54 Station strong network that BIG FM will have completely rolled out in the next few months.

Rediff.com will allow the young listeners to access all the interesting trivia and latest updates of the competition on the Internet.

Speaking on the alliance, Zee TV Marketing Head, Tarun Mehra said, "We have entered into these alliances, which are amongst the first in the long line of beneficial associations, because we want to take the show to its next level. Challenge 2007 is no longer on a national but has gone to a global level. We have even titled it 'Sangeet ka pratham vishwa-yudh'. We will be able to reach a larger section of our audiences through Big FM. For our international participants and their families, music can bind them via the Internet"

Speaking on the occasion, Anand Chakravarthy, National Marketing Head, BIG FM said, "This is the biggest music platform for new talent that is available on television and the synergy with BIG FM is great. We will be taking our association to a level beyond just an on air one, but rather off air too. This is not just an association, but a true partnership."

The maha-yodha's in this season's vishwa-yudh are Superstar Himmesh Reshammiya, the dynamic Ismail Darbar, teen sensations Vishal and Shekhar and the evergreen Bappi Lahiri. After having searched the globe for unparallel talent, the four maestros have short listed 32 participants who are being housed in Mumbai and are under the guidance of the respective mentors.

Hero Honda Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007 is a musical reality show that extends beyond just the participants. It is a contest between four musical maestros! 32 contestants selected from across 4 continents and 6 countries, will compete with each other under the guidance of the four mentors. The mentors enter the battlefield armed with their respective teams in the quest to find the deserving winners.
